if there is too much bass and you don't listen to very much music on the pc do
as below to playback device. then to the default speakers that are beeing used.
properties. then find the enhancements tab and disable all sound effects . this
will set the bass and treble back to there default levels

Does anyone have any idea why a fresh install of Window-Eyes 9.0 from the CD
on a Windows 7 machine would say it is a demo version? It has the correct
serial number in the about, but still says it is a 30 minute demo.

The combo boxes which contain the questions do not stay put. When you
have found a question you wish to answer, you have to press enter on it.
