Hi all,
I'm one of the local montreal contributors with repeated contacts at the
city of Montreal. To answer the questions:
1) We did get the city to explicitely state authorization for re-use
under odbl as per the guidelines of the LWG for CC-by-4.0. The license

Bonjour Pierre,
nouveau groupe (Open Mapping Group McGill). C'est un nouveau groupe, mais qui
me semble très bien organisé. Il ya eu trois
As others have said, mountain bike trails can have surprising names for
those not in their community. (I'm not a mountain biker, but the same is
true for rock climbing routes.)
This community website has the c-buster trail at about the same
location. There is a note that this trail is

Thanks for the update. I thought the 1500 were closer to the Montreal
area and was confused in my overpass-fu. I'll have a look at some point
at all this data.
Cheers,

Hi Niklas,
I know there's at least one other user (in Montréal) who's very
interested in mapping hiking paths. I'm not sure if he follows this
mailing list (I think so), but he definitely follows the local montreal

I'm asking the question here since I'm in Canada and can't quite find an
appropriate mailing list. This is a (rather lengthy) question about the
best workflow to show trail information using osm data, leaflet, and gpx

Background:
I contacted someone at a local volunteer organization that
