Actually, I'd guess that William Russell might be the only active
member who has actually seen bylaws of the UT Grotto.
The NSS Internal Organizations Committee (http://caves.org/committee/i-o/
) used to have a model set of bylaws for grottos. I can't find any
such thing on the NSS web site

The Rockeaters in New York had only two rules.
Rule 1) Anyone who wanted to could be president.
Rule 2) Kill the president.
It cut down on speleo-politics.

The Bexar Grotto has a fairly well written constitution. It was last revised
in 1994, when I was just getting started as a caver. The constitution calls
for four officers: Chairperson, Vice-Chair of Programs, Vice-Chair of Trips,
and Secretary-Treasurer. For a long time now the secretary-treasurer

Ok,
I changed the recipe for the chili due to limited availability of venison.
Here we go (feeds about 15):
Half a chicken (create own chicken broth by boiling)
1 lb. of dry red kidney beans
3 cloves of garlic
1 jalapeno
1 tablespoon olive oil (yes, a cheat)
16 oz boiler onions
2 teaspoons chili
Guys,
What do you think about pieces of seafood warped in a banana leaf and
seamed. Servers would cut the packets open with scissor and offer a
spicy or mild sauce to spoon on top.
Packet will contain:
Fish & shellfish
Onion
epazote
achiote past
roasted garlic
salt
pepper
Sauce/mild:
roast
