I did a summer fellowship on "Why do undergraduates find it difficult to
find ideas for experimental research projects in psychology?". I'd be happy

I need help (don't we all!!??).
As a newer faculty member, one of the things I don't have a lot of

If I were you, I think I'd take a look at the stuff at the APA Monitor website(http://www.apa.org/monitor/) - it's got some interesting stuff about the career paths chosen by 21 psychologists "forging 21st century careers.&qu

Elizabeth Mazur,
Hi Tipsters who teach I/O
I'm revising the research paper required for my I/O class. I used to
have them do a job analysis but I would like to do something more
comprehensive. I was thinking about having students identify a real
problem in a real company and then write a paper outlining how they

I'm designing a new course for an aeronautical college (changing horses to some new schools because I can no longer rationalize a long, long commute for an adjunct position) and am hoping TIPS can help with 1) textbook suggestions
Thank you all for your wonderful ideas for senior sem. Many people
requested a compilation of all the ideas. I will do one and send it to
the list as most posters replied off-list. Thanks again!

Tipsters: I'm teaching senior seminar for the first time this winter. I

Hi tipsters. I am teaching for 5 weeks in Bregenz, Austria next summer.

Hi, all,
As I begin updating my Intro syllabus for the Fall, I seek your ideas for
writing assignments. In the past, we had a lab as part of the course, and
lab write-ups provided writing opportunities. Last year, when the lab
became a separate course, instead I had students choose two of

My thanks to Maxwell Gwynn, Barrie Bondurant, Kirsten Rewey, Beth Bennett, Dan
