Just rang PC WORLD to check if they had a Squeezebox touch in stock, as it is online order only on there web site. Sales person said they only have a few in the warehouse,as this is a discontinued item. So is there a replacement on its way? or is it just PC World/currys that are not selling them

The clock not showing up is usually caused by the time on the Touch not being set. It does not have a battery backed up clock, so every time it powers up the time is random. It knows this so it won't display the clock when the time is not set (the feeling is it's better not to show the clock,
