Yeah, I really think you have some other issue at play here. I'm running two instances of SBS 7.6.1 on two different WinXP computers and my players *always* connect to whichever SBS I choose. What you probably saw is the Touch downgrading to 7.5.5, if you ever switch to MySB again it will prompt

"Why does it work?" has answers at two extremes. At one end, the equipment change resulted in some technical improvement - perhaps lower interference or noise - that you're now hearing. At the other end, it could be all in your head. In the middle, it could be a combination of those factors.

Yeah, you won't have access to Switch Library from within My Music unless the Touch is currently connected to SBS. That's why I want you to move it to the Home menu. ;) My assumption is that you are getting update prompts because your player is switching between SBS 7.5 and MySB.com 7.6. When

Have you installed the server on a computer on your network, or are you only using MySqueezebox.com? If you haven't installed the server, do so. Then try playing some of your own music files and see whether or not that works. If not, then something is definitely wrong. -- JJZolx --

I tried using the DAC on a Duet and I don't have this problem. I'm assuming it has to do with the higher bitrate flac files that are 24/96. They are the ones that pop in the beginning prior to the first note. On the Duet it's ok but I'm assuming it is because the Duet resamples the file to 24/4
