I am a beginner. Can I get bbc iplayer on my squeezebox duet?
Yes, there's a plugin for that (in the media server, now called
Logitech Media Server). I'm assuming there's nothing odd about the Duet
in this regard (I have 2 x SBR, 1 x SB3.

numerous streaming errors that introduce artefacts and lower the

Hi everyone,

I tested with a USB key to check if the NAS is a problem.
The aif file on a USB key does not work.
So it may not be a NAS problem.

It is if you run the server on a computer it transcodes alac and aif to
flac , the nas migth not be able to.
And nor will the Touch itself
SqueezeBox Touch's DAC held it's own against much higher priced
streamers, performing better than units costing much more than a

A lot of the price difference is accounted for by different sellers.
Amazon themselves have been selling at £135 but when their stock is
exhausted, the price goes up to the lowest available from one of the
partners. When they get new stock the price goes back down again.

No ADC or DAC has 144 dB sn ratio hence they are not in practice 24 bit
best case 20-21 bit iin the very best dac's with sn around 120 dB in the
case of Touch probably less than that.
And then we have the recording
