Do the two servers have unique UUID strings? If you happened to copy the
server.prefs file from one to the other, the UUID will be the same and
this will cause confusion. To see the UUID, examine each server's
server.prefs file in a text editor and look for the line beginning
with:

Do you mean that instead of having the files on a hard drive in the NAS
you're trying to use a USB stick plugged into the NAS? Hard to imagine
the hard drive not being fast enough. Sounds more like the buffering may
be due to the NAS just being underpowered.

No, this was never a feature. Many of the settings that affect either
the web interface or the interface on the older SB/2/3/Boom/Transporter
players have no effect on the Touch and Radio. The Now Playing screens
on the Touch and Radio are not customizable.

That's a very good point. Normal LMS settings will suppress artists in
the artist list if they only appear on a compilation. So if you have one
Bob Dylan album and it happens to have an incorrect COMPILATION=1 tag,
it will keep the artist from being displayed. Use the Extended Tags

If you're not an audiophile with experience discerning subtle
differences in sound quality, you're not going to hear a difference. If
you're diddling with EQ on some other player to shape the music to a

Some portable players with microSDHC ports that supposedly only support
32GB have been shown to work fine with current generation 64GB microSD

Strange. I run a lot of different versions of SBS/LMS on my server, and
they all give the same counts and the exact same total playing time. LMS
7.8, LMS 7.7.3 (x 2), SBS 7.6.5 and SBS 7.5.6.

I'd check the scanner.log file on the first computer and see whether or
not there are problems scanning some files. Enable scan.import debugging
in the settings. I wouldn't chalk it up to a bug quite yet.

Let's try this:
Using the remote, you have _exactly_ the same ability to turn off the
Touch off that you had with the SB2/3. It's immediate. The music stops.
You can set your off screensaver to display either a clock or completely
turn off the screen.
Consider the Touch interface to be a bonus.
I don't have an answer for a single one of your questions, but I'd try
powering off (by physically pulling out the power plug) for several
minutes, then powering back up. If that doesn't fix it, try doing a
factory reset by holding in the reset button on the back of the unit for
15 seconds or so,

I wouldn't think you'd want to disable all of the Now Playing screens
except the album art one, since that means you also lose the ability to
