If you do this inside a subroutine (and I DO see people use STOP inside
subroutines all too often) you're locking into a legacy terminal
environment.

Flex looks promising.
It's a lot better than writing plain old Flash. But it is still a bit of
mare even with the crappy development studio thingy they've finally added..

Basically if you are using ReadList statements, that probably means you are
doing a lot of round trip processing in your application (I may be wrong
since I don't know your app, so don't flame me!).
Now my advice is always to avoid the direct objects likes files and select
