button (external/internal/both) on this Acer TM3040 series doesn't do

No, it recognizes dos partitions just fine. The problem here is that
the name of the raid set is not null terminated, which causes the main
device name to have all those spaces in it, which causes dmraid to fail

I experience the same problem
When I close the lid of my laptop the system freezes, mouse keyboard doesn't
respond. I got the problem since I made a fresh install of gutsy. With feisty
everything works fine. I've got a Dell Inspiron 510m with intel 82853/855 GM

upgrade manager during installation. A by-hand apt-get update and
dpkg-configure -a did not all the stuff the update manager would have
made I guess. Especially evms was not reinstalled, so that the udevd was

You might try disabling tracker (indexing in preferences). The user
folders update is just a quick script that runs on startup that makes
sure you have the Documents/Music/etc. folders and that they're
appropriately translated to your language.

- The command sudo hdparm -I /dev/sda shows this line about APM:
Advanced power management level: unknown setting (0x80fe)
The 0xfe byte is the 254 value I set whith the -B command in
hexadecimal, but i do not understand the 0x80 byte and why it tells

In order to show the network shares, it must be able to open over the
network (that is, use GnomeVFS). The next version of AbiWord (2.6) will
use LibGSF which allows use of GnomeVFS transparently on systems where
it is available, so when 2.6 is released and packaged, this bug will be
fixed.

The Thinkpad T60 (among others) has volume control buttons connected to a
hardware mixer.
With the thinkpad-acpi module, the push of the volume control buttons also
generates a acpi-event. This event is (wrongly) translated to VOLUME_*
I can confirm it for 2.6.22-14 as well. Happens approx. every second shutdown.
