After upgrading to Hardy Heron 2.6.24-2, i've lost ability to call
Processes List by pressing ctrl+esc. I don't know how to call it from
console, so i suppose that this program was uninstalled in some recent
upgrades from hardy repositories.

Last weekend I installed Ubuntu 6.06 on this 770E. I can tell you how I
dealt with the fan. This was worked out a year or so ago on a Vector
installation which also would not start the fan.
1. force acpi on by editing "acpi=force" to the end of the kernel line in

I can confirm this bug to. It looks like since the app is launched by a
regular user, when they try to perform a system-wide action that
normally requires root user access the password dialog prompts for the
user password for localhost, which even if the user has administrative
permissions nothing
I have tried the installation again against archive.ubuntu.com and
everything worked this time.

I am getting the same problem, same software setup running on a Athlon
X2 4400. I don't think it is related to xen-tools themselves I believe
it is actually a kernel bug.

KWord's short cut to enter fullscreen, ctrl-shift-F, doesn't work.
KWord can, however, be put into fullscreen by manually going to view >
fullscreen. The keyboard shortcut also doesn't allow for exiting
fullscreen either. This appears to be only for KWord, however, I am not
