Hello!
Hold on! I found the reason why smbd dies: I found in the logs that the
declared guest account did not exist. When corrected to an existing account
smbd starts ok.

Hello everybody!
The bug I reported is #216354, which was a crash of Firefox when trying
to submit a .crash report.
I do not have any crash report in /var/crash, and therefore I cannot try
with the latest Firefox version, which is the one I use.
By the way, seems to me that Firefox Mozilla/5.0 (X

What kind of LTS would it be if the bug fixing is not "backported"? I

I installed the official release from the live CD as of April 25th.
The restricted driver is working properly and the special effects do work.
The report can be closed, as far as I am concerned!
Thanks to all Ubuntu developers,

Hi!
THanks, I have tried but no way: still going to low resolution. But it
did something more: It set the card to a mode so that when I removed the

power-off the pc to get back to high resolution with no .conf.

Dear Hervé,
thanks for the suggestion.
Unfortunately, I do not have a .conf that is accepted by the current
