with thunderbird it is possible to browse, open and save file to a

Hi,
I have the same problem with a linksys (RaLink RT2561/RT61 802.11g) card.
Jurjen's solution also works for me, but it is quite annoying.

I've reproduced the bug in the version of notification-daemon included
in the Hardy 8.04 release, and have verified that the package in Hardy-
proposed definitely improves the memory usage of it -- doing (in bash):

of checking for all the above information and restarting, my sound's
started working again. there were a couple of things that i installed
along the way, like for the lspnp reading. maybe that's what fixed it.

This is happening for me too, trying to burn an iso image to a blank CD-R.

it happen cause dpkg was working and something kill this process and you
must continue the work with dpkg --configure -a. This is for install packages
that have been download but not complete installed.
