Note that Im not sure how or when this this post was originally

So, RB wont write a file to disk.
I believe the reason is because the program attempts to save the entire
link instead of something much more shorter or customized. The filename
then exceeds the filesystem naming requirements.

Tried twice. The first video (appeneded with chopiness in archive) was
extremely choppy throughout. I stopped it at about 3minutes.
The second video (appended with no-chopiness in archive) was not choppy

I have the same issues, although Cheese doesnt get choppy for me until
after a few minutes of recording approximately 2 and half minutes. Alot
of times if I record longer than that it will also, not properly create
the temp video.
I only use 640x480 mode.

Forgive, my tardiness but I did a backup and recently installed Windows
7 and Ubuntu Karmic Stable.
Though, no the problem I could boot from Windows Vista back into Windows
Vista without the error boot screen popping up. It only happened if I
went from Ubuntu to Windows.
I did manage to capture the issue, but the solution I normally used (ie
mounting Windows partition in Ubuntu) did not rectify the problem for
some reason. It's a bit long on running time but I tried to minimize the
amount of recording by not recording long processes, which is why its
broken down
That is correct Windows will only boot again if I mount the partition
inn Ubuntu, this is despite that the shutdowns from within Windows are
done using the Start Menu Shutdown procedure.
