Go ahead and close this report. Not sure how this was installed on the
machine. It came down with one of the recent updates, because I was
having problems after I reinstalled Hardy after the libc issue. Anyway,
since I have no further information and it doesn't seem like any more
will be
the meta package fixed the problem, however shouldn't openoffice.org-gtk
work the same. The way I understand it, the two packages should
function the same and the only difference should be in the look and
feel. If this is the case then there is still an issue with the error I
reported.

Well thats great, but when I go to /var/crash I do not see a crash file
for gnome-settings-daemon. It seems that you should try and verify
circumstances prior to arbitraily invalidating a problem report. The
problem hasn't gone away, I just don't specifically see a crash file for

incomplete clean-up of a previous version. I have never installed
thunderbird on this system using any other method other then apt-get. I

control gaim. I checked my system for appropriate man-pages and I didn't

experiencing an application hang at least once every 24 hours or so. Not
sure why this began. The program turns grey and the tray icon is stll

occurred when I just installed liferea. I then copied a feedlist.opml

I was using the Desktop CD. There was really nothing in syslog, however
this is the first I've heard of /var/log/partman :-( Not sure if I can
duplicate this problem again. Keeping an eye out with each subsequent

generated crashed and generated an error. I will included two files.

My problem is pretty consistent. I'm running Feisty Fawn and have
noticed an evolution hang when I single-click on the from address in
an open mail. I discovered this by accident. I would normally just click
reply, but I thought at a mimimum evolution should open a new window
BTW, since the program only hangs and never blows up, there is never a
crash report created.
