flawlessly and is very easy to set up using the guides on
wiki.ubuntu.com etc. Takes about 15 minutes to set up and then you just

already taken the trouble to create a
version of the Debian operating system, stripped down and ready to use
on the NSLU2. Debian is very similar to Ubuntu (Ubuntu is based on
Debian) so right now, you should learn how to use the terminal in Ubuntu
before worrying about all that.

useful, it identifies packages which do
not have any other packages dependent on them. By default it just lists
unused libraries, but it can be used to identify all top-level packages
on your system.

don't use
any applets.
Try removing your current applets and adding the AWN testing repo as per:
https://launchpad.net/~awn-testing/+archive
...then install your favourite applets from that repo.

find . -type l
...where l is the lower-case letter el, not the digit one. You could
then pipe this to ls -l which would give you the destination of each:
find . -type l | xargs -n 1 ls -l
...where -n 1 is the digit one and ls -l is the letter el.
