Tx - the only thing that had changed was a new drive in the server which
meant the remote image backup share name in my net mounts was invalid.
The music share didn't change. The new drive went in with no LMS
activity ongoing.

I've experienced another mysterious Library "Empty" after a daily full
scan. Nothing has changed AFAIK on the Win10 server where the library is
stored. All shares are visible from another PC. Also my image backups do
not list the backup folder (vol1) on the server as a destination so
something is
HDMI for video. Jivelite on 8 never initializes properly. I never see
the selection choices like language, etc. Just a black screen. Music
plays, though.
I did all my testing with from scratch installs, not upgrades and used
defaults for HDMI.

SAMBA does work well. I use it it or network drives in Windows to
copy/sync in FreeFileSync. SAMBA is handy to add just one

with my stick.
The USB stick was originally formatted on a Synology NAS. The data was
then copied onto the stick via the NAS. So the rights on the stick were
definitely not belonging to "tc".

Clicking "set write permissions" solved the issue of not being able to

Thanks Paul - I wish I'd seen that before I dug out an old Windows
machine and eventually figured out the same solution. I guess the
fdisk/mkfs.ext4 process has created a file system that belongs to root,
so user
lost+found is a function of the ext4 partition. You cannot delete
it.well if you do, it will automatically get recreated if you check
the disk.

For what it's worth, I run pCP directly from the SSD.
1) Download RPI Imager, and then burn the RPI4 recovery image for USB
booting to a Micro SD card
2) Boot the RPI with the MicroSD Card. Wait for the flash process to
completed.
3) Power down and remove the microSD card.
4) Using a USB-A US

o create a new empty DOS partition table
n add a new partition (it'll ask some more questions - not sure

I'm fairly sure there will be if you know how to use SSH to talk to the
Pi.
