I think Ashish is looking for something which would happen just after svn up
(or rather as a part of it, at end)

Hi Ashish,
While not exactly what your looking for, svn stat should make it
easier to spot any conflicts.

Yes I understand that, I'm saying you would run svn stat after running
svn update.

Hi Vikas,
I'm sorry but I disagree with this change. As this stage, I'd far prefer to keep the old profile wich has much more options and
looks better.
So I ask the community opinion about that.
You can still see the old profile if you run an R9.04 version or at http://ofbiz-vm.apache.org/
production servers

Are svn vendor branches still recommended for keeping custom ofbiz up to
date, as described in:

Many thanks in advance

Hi Tim,
Do you do any changes to the core applications as extensions in hot-deploy?
Do you have a local svn repository for your hot-deploy code?
Many thanks for the reply,
Chris

I wouldn't. We do just about everything in hot-deploy and then
upgrade OFBiz whenever
careful. That being said, we stay up to the trunk
religiously since that's where we put most of our changes as well.
We do have a local svn repo for our hot-deploy code - actually we tend
to break them up by client and have separate repos for each to make it
easier.

- but from experience -
it's really a pain and not worth the effort.

I'm a bit confused with your deployment process. Are your production servers
synchronized directly to the ofbiz svn repository and then manually patched
and built?

Hi Scott,
Thanks for the quick fix.

Hi,
I'm very new to OFBiz, and trying to learn more about it..
I downloaded and run release 4.0 (on Linux/Sun Java 1.6) successfully.
Now, I tried to build and use the svn trunk copy, but I could not succeed.
Although I did not get any error during build and startup, when I try
