Hi Garry and all
Looking very interresting indeed. Nice to see my "material"
actually have some uses :-)
Oh, and a late merry Christmas and happy new year to all.
I've been far to busy with other stuff lately; RS3D has
dropped down on the priority list.

Hi Neil :
Please forgive my 'top-post' to your elaborate mail . I
do hope that Realsoft inc takes the time to ponder your sit-
uation , considering how positive a result you are having
with your Renderings-To-Print success story .
Myself , and my latest crusade concerning the RS community,

Hey Neil :
Not surprising , I was actually thinking about you when doing
this tute , since I know you so do love the landscape potenti
Hi Garry,
No tutorial needed since the way to render as "bmp" is all that is needed
and is in "render options" as well as the manual. Get your models done, line
up the lights, set your "camera" and render to file as bmp. Tutorial
finished.
Print requirements depend entirely on printing devic

Hi Garry,
I just sent the Printer thing and then re-read it, I shouldnt have done that
since there are some errors like the 8000x5600 thing is the final file size
when I had previous mentioned file size calcs as a different formula.
Anyway, just to mention that there are errors but the main thrus

Hi George and all,
Good stuff George. What I was thinking of was one stop shop simple apps /
workflow that would record the screen as you go while also recording the
audio from your microphone live - all in one. Then commit to a video file
or Flash file and upload. Minimum of steps!

I have posted an updated version of my Real GreebleZ script.
This version updates the screen automatically when the script is finished
running a greebling process; this is in answer to the bug Timo pointed out.
You can get it at the same location:

Hi Neil :
Man , that is some huge post of good info . I really have to
ask , however , with a little imagination could you not have
used some of this info in a very small tutorial ?
You say no need for a tute , then you write this big long
email (that will disappear forever into the void i
Hi Garry,
Yeah, it got away from me, it was after midnight, sorry about the "book".
Regardless of format, it's hard data so will be text heavy. I'll do a bit of
work on it sometime and post it to my site ... maybe send a copy to Robert
too in case he feels it would be useful on his site.

and so is the "Guidelines to Getting Image Files to

Anyway, hoping there's an answer to the Shadow

Hi Neil,
I have had similar puzzling thingies with large file.
Are you using massing nested instances?
You say it is only with older objects? Analyticals? Convert to something
else?
What type of light fixture with what type of shadow? Try changing to
direct. Or spot with raytrace and 0 shadow qual

Hi Chris,
Thanks for your reply.
I can't attach the file so I posted it to my site again. Below is some more

Hi
I once had a similar problem, but unfortunately I'm not sure how I
dealt with it, or how or by whom I got help from (maybe from Vesa?). I
think the problem was either related to cylinders, imported v3.x
cylinders, or imported cutted elliopsoids (curved conecylinder sortof)
