I need to save a graph as a graphical object, say as jpeg or png. I recall
doing this years ago but can't remember how or find anything in help as to
how to tackle it. I think I did it in OOo, or Star Office, but it might have
been in Excel. Is it possible in OOo and, if so, how?

Does anybody know how to do this? The instructions say to select chart
but the program (3.1 on OS X) tries to print the entire spreadsheet and
chart. All I want is the chart.
In Excel you just have to select the chart to print it. That doesn't
work either.

Mark,
That can be a challenge, if you don't know how to do it. If you are using
Windows, any flavor, hit PRT SCRN, which will capture the entire visible
desktop to the clipboard. Then open any graphics program, even MS Paint, and
cut out the part you want to use (copy it). Hit FILENEW.

entire visible desktop to the clipboard.
If using GNOME hit PRT SCRN and you can save the current screen image to an
image file directly. This is how I convert charts to images.
Yes, that works. However, not all of us want to save the entire screen image,
thus my instructions.

I have been using the Sun Presenter Console without difficulty until

that slide, the video appeared on the projector screen, but the image on
