Hello Debbie,
You are quite welcome.
It took me a while to get used to the Click Wheel swipe gestures. When they

I have come to really enjoy the ease of motion and lack of finger fatigue that

I believe I did disable that function because it seemed too sensitive to me and
I'd [personally rather press down on the wheel than just swipe. Pressing down

Hello Debby,
You ask a great question.
The click & touch option, the default option, allows one to navigate the UI by
simply single-finger swiping up, down, left, and right, on the Click Wheel in
order to move focus. This is a Siri remote feature, not a VoiceOver feature
that can be
HI Mark,
Perhaps this is a dumb question, but I have an Apple TV 4K 2nd generation with
the Siri remote for just a few months and I wonder what the Voiceover Touch and
Click navigation is?
I'm probably using it and don't know it!
Thank you!

take up less space?
I need to try to do this, as I am running low on space.
I am a VO user.
I am totally blind, and any help would be appreciated.

Hi, All:
The recent thread about the CBS Spoken RX reminded me that I ran into a

I got it to spell, but I can't get it to spell anything but my name.
Also, I can't get it out of spell mode. I took out the batteries and

Yes, for the past 15 months, the IOS operating system has transformed Do Not
Disturb into a more flexible system called focus.
You can have up to 10 focus types.
Focus can be enabled when a program starts, at a specific time or location, or
manually.
For each focus you can specify what apps
You can also pull up the control centre and find the "Focus" button. I believe
double tapping it turns on Do Not Disturb, if not if you flick down or up once
to "Open Controls" and then double tap you can choose to turn on any focus you
have set up, e.g. sleep, work etc. As Richard said, you
Everybody has to decide how they want to use their iPhone and while it seems
there is a bit of extra functionality, a lot of what this offers seems to be
duplication and I definitely would not spend almost the same as what my iPhone
costs for something like this. I wonder how it records phone
Do a search on Applevis, I'm sure there will be some articles or tutorials
there. Having said this, I tried it and personally don't care for it very much.

Yes, but this won't give you the same functionality as having it in Dropbox and
using a dedicated player app which would allow you to browse your music by
artist, song, genre, make playlists etc.

Absolutely, you can have your music library in Dropbox and there are a whole
bunch of apps out there which are made to play your Dropbox music library;
maybe Applevis has reviews on the best ones, but many are free or at least free
to try so you would have to see what works.
If you have

I assume music you added to your library would be gone, playlists would be as
well unless you somehow exported them and are able to import them again, but
the music of course is all still there so you can just start building up your
library again as you go.

Absolutely and if you already own music which is not on the streaming service

Hi Duane,
What I do is tell Siri, turn on Do Not Disturb; then turn off do not disturb

you are talking about, I find it easier to just use Siri.
I suspect some kind of a routine could be set up that when x app is

You could put music in voice dream reader if you wanted. If I did
this, I'd just make a music folder in voice dream reader, then zip up
some music and put it in there. You wouldn't be able to shuffle
tracks or anything like that, but it would work.

So I have seen in earlier threads concerning audiobooks and MP3 files that is
possible to put them on your phone by zipping them into a folder and having
them in an app like dropbox and then importing them into an app on your phone
such as voice dream reader is it possible to do something like
Can anybody share good resources for learning about widgets: finding them,
navigating among them, adding them to different screens, ones people find

add widgets to the Lock screen, I was not at all successful.
