Well, my sound bar has no HDMI input. And it needs one to have it. Also, I have
read that if it is arc, on the HDMI it should say Ark on the TV as in "HDMI
arc" or something like that. We have three or four HDMI ports, and none of them
say that. So I therefore I conclude I don't have it. Even if
Hi Mary. How did you find out your tv didn't have this arc audio? Just curious.

that my sound bar and the TV as well are not equipped with something called

Hi Jennifer,
I have no idea how you would find that energy saver, since we apparently don't
have one. Our TV is seven years old. It does have an Internet connection. But
it certainly isn't up to modern standards I'm sure.

Hi Mary.
I'm using Boaz speakers. It's not surround sound... They're actually the
speakers I used with my computer and other systems. How would I find the energy
saver in the menus I wonder? How old is your tv? Asking because if you don't
have the energy saver, I may not either. (Smile)

Hi Jennifer,
I assume you are using a sound bar of some kind. What kind if you don't mind my
asking? Someone on another list of suggested that they had a similar problem
with a surround sound receiver that they were controlling from a computer. On
their computer, they were able to disablesome ki
Hi Mary.
I am experiencing the same thing. I hope this is resolved soon! (Smile)

with voiceover. When the sound bar that we have is connected to the TV via
digital optical cable, and there is audio coming through it on a mo
