Hi All,
I'm having a lot of trouble moving apps into folders on my Ipad. When
I double tap and hold (a gesture that works like a charm on my
iPhone), although the app under my finger does move, it seems rather
random whether or not it will create a folder when placed on top of

would probably make things harder

This is true even for those with some sight! It almost an exercise in
futility trying to get an app to the page you want it on. I don&
s, it is very
simple due to it's consistent and predictable structure, and this is the
case by intent. I guess my point is that anyone, absolutely anyone can
master this thing and quite quickly regardless of level of vision, age, etc.

LOL! Rose, that's exactly what I did too! It sounded pretty straight
forward and simple. Then I got into trouble and compounded things until
everything was screwed up big time so I reset it like you did but golly it
much.

I too had this problem, but with a little patience I learned to quickly,
easily, and reliably move my apps around on the current homepage and between
homepages. Here's the secret. :)

The folders are exactly aligned in the rows and columns. I find it much
easier to move a folder next to an app I want to put in it then the other
way around. If you move an app and you accidently let go in the

I thought folders held 12 apps on the 4S and earlier, while folders on

I explore the screen a bit before moving apps around and moving them
into folders, but it sounds like you're already doing that. Sometimes
moving an app over next to a folder as an intermediate step helps. Also,
folders only hold a certain amount of apps and once a folder is full,

question about placing apps in folders. I do understand the concept of
how to move apps, and how to move apps into folders! But, is there
some trick to getting an app
