Thanks for this explanation. I have a similar problem even without iTunes
Match. I am subscribed to Apple Music, however there are songs which I own and
were formerly present in my library which I can no longer see unless I turn off
Apple Music.
This service has so many things I like, it's a
All,
After talking with several Apple tech support people, both at an Apple

Hi Brett,
I have Apple Music (not iTunes Match) and I am able to stream my own collection
of music from the cloud, even tracks which are not available in Apple Music. I
truly believe Apple Music includes all the features of iTunes Match.

Thanks all for the input. An update on my situation. Someone at work
told me to sign out and then back in to my account, which I did. I
have also turned off iCloud Library in Settings, and for covering
bases, also turned off Apple Music and then back on. No change. Grant,
thanks for your ideas and
Yes, its pretty much duplication these days. The only reason you would want it
these days is if you have music that cannot be found on Apple music, if you
iTumes match it you can stream it on any of your iDevices. It is also a good
way to ucgrade dodgy music to better quality, but that's less
this was also included for Apple Music subscribers.

Hello Wayne,
Do you know if the songs are actually gone from your music library, or is it
just your playlists that are messed up? I’ve used iTunes Match, and now Apple

contents of playlists suddenly being lost and
sic subscribers.

This may be a dumb idea but have you gone into the settings of your phone to
see if the settings changed for match or apple music? Maybe something got
turned off? If you can’t get it resolved, I’d definitely consider calling apple
support.
Good Luck,

A few months ago, iTunes match raised its limit to 50,000 as well. So no
difference there. I haven't checked since upgrading to 9.3. I also haven't
specifically added any Apple Music to my library. And I did that because of all
that mess with iTunes match last year. Good luck getting your
