Scientific, that use a Braille display and a qwerty keyboard, you can type on
the keyboards using the standard typing mode, or you can convert the qwerty

I use the Baun Verio 12 with my iPhone. For reading its fantastic. I don't
really like the keyboard for input, the keys are too hard to press and it's a
bit clicky. Its size is great though.
I would always recommend trying a couple of displays yourself before purchasing
if you can. Every one

but they're not promoting this because there is akind of complicated

Not that I know of. The idea is to type in Braille on the touch screen just
like you could with MBraille and BrailleTouch however you can do this in any
text field. Typing on a Braille display should be the same as it always has

Yes you can just tab with dot 6 and spacebar till you see slide to unlock

I stand corrected. My understanding of the question was faulty. No braille
display can cause the iPhone to power up the screen, I.E. cause the power or
home button to activate whilst the display is locked / shut down.
