Don't you use Dropbox or OneDrive? That would be a much easier way especially to get them onto a PC, just enable camera roll in either Dropbox or OneDrive and all your photos magically appear on your PC and if you want you can still move them out of the Dropbox or OneDrive folder especially

Hi Nancy, I don't know if this is still true, but it used to be that if you connected an ipHOne to a PC, one folder showed up in Windows Explorer, called DCIM. It contained all the photos on the iPHone, making it very easy to copy them to a PC. I hope that's still the case. Best, Anna
