Have followed your advice, Resolved Duplicate fonts.
Repaired permissions, restarted twice.
Still got the strange document when I opened Excel again, plus the spinning
beachball.
After a minute or so I was able to close the strange window and get things
working again.

In a few days my housemate will be getting his new MacBook Pro 13 he bought
yesterday at Black Friday prices.
He will be migrating from a G4 14 running 10.4.
What are the recommended solutions for migrating all of his Mail

Since upgrading to 10.6.2 I have some weird mail behavour.
Almost every 9 from10 can not be send = server can not be found try later
mail is saved in outbox I then doubleclick the message click send and the

Odd issue.
I just had a look in Mail for setting I've seen before with other e-mail
clients. Some allow you to POP before SMTP. The idea being it opens a
connection tunnel to the mail server and then attempts to send the e-mail. Not
sure if that is the direct issue here but might be

I have pointed my own domain name to my mobileme account and use both
Sandvox and Dreamweaver.
There is a setting in MobileMe to allow you to host your own domain.
The only downside I have is that the MobileMe does not handle the MX record

The slow upload speed certainly isn't helping, I've heard that Reachnet is
painfully slow ;-)
