Another thought if Repair Disk Permissions & Repair Disk and if Console hasn't shown you what is causing the error. Try booting the system to Safe Mode by holding the Shift key at startup. This mode will clear some caches and perform other rudimentary maintenance tasks, and also disable nonesse

Hi Reg As Ronni has mentioned, Alsoft will most likely come back and say that yes it's fine with SSD's. Which in theory it may be, but in practice there's really no need. Sure it "may" run fine with the drive and appear to do something, but beneath the surface it's really not doing that much.

Hi Reg Depending on type of issues, then sometimes it can be fine to migrate everything and see how it goes. Though sometimes if you don't want to do it all a second time I find it's easier just to migrate just the user data and then manually install all the Applications again. It takes longer
