I have a fixed one. Its 100" was about a grand, but is better than
anything - I tried the painted wall option, no where near as good.

Most of the AppleCentres have them in stock and on display. Some may
still have some bundle stock with Mac OS X left over from a Christmas
promotion as well, if you're in the market for Mac OS X 10.2.

The new Airport Base Stations are great value. Apple introduced Airport
Extreme at MacWorld, which supports the 802.11g standard and is
backward compatible with the old 802.11b standard. Airport Extreme runs
at 54Mbps vs 11Mbps, but you need an 802.11g compatible card/device to
