Hi, Neil, I'm not sure what you are asking. I have added a number of folders with custom icons (made with CocoThumbX) to the sidebar with the old tried and true method of dragging the folder there, also by Command-Option dragging. Since SL, some, but not all, of these custom icons in the side

Hi Pat, Thanks for the link. Unfortunately this program is for creating thumbnail images - which is not what I am looking for. I realise that it can be used to add an icon to an image file - but I am specifically interested in the different sidebar-specific icons that some default Apple folders
