Great! vince, that solved my problem. I added thamn to the path . New path : /customers/0/1/3/smeds.eu/httpd.www/thamn . I now see my Klimalogg pro temperatures at smeds.eu/thamn/kl It must be that ONE.com has changed their servers since it worked before with just /thamn as path. Thanks

I have tried with other paths e.g. thamn that exists on the server without success. I thought that if I declare a new path called "new" it would be generated automaticly. At smeds.eu/thamn I have an old upload from 11 of June 2023. The directory new has not been generated on the server. Checked

Thanks, Vince, I just figured that out by trying to "dig grattans.org" from the weewx server and getting nothing. I had been messing with webmin, making some network changes, and somehow the name server reference wasn't correct. Sorry for the panic and much appreciated for the fast reply.

We have seen this error before and it's very misleading. Despite the message, it can be caused by problems either locally or remotely. 1. Make sure the FTP username has write permissions on the server for the path you specified. 2. Make sure the password is correct. Does it include special

No real direct disadvantages, you will fill your database quicker than most, but storage is cheap and it's nothing that the dbms used by weeWX can't handle. CPU load is not necessarily an issue, unless you make it an issue. WeeWX spends most of its time reading and storing loop data and doing

Being the usual pedantic soul that I am ... so Tom's 'not true' which implied my post on archive intervals was not true is also not strictly true. The FTP report timing IS based on the archive timing, but may be DEFERRED to run LESS frequently by setting a report_timing option if so desired.
