I saw the same thing. I clicked thru the nag box asking me to go to contest
mode and worked the JA anyway.
6M open to JA is sweet!!

Jay,
No...the VHF/UHF features not enabled. No box to check or not check in
FT8 mode. I also failed to mention that this was using v1.9.0 r8731.

Hi Ned. I was wondering if you have VHF/UHF features enabled in the settings? I
wonder if this issue exists if that box is unchecked?
Sorry about the DS. I was able to work 17 JA's but never saw him.

We had a big opening to JA today on 6m. Some of the contacts were over
10,000 km and I have heard some ops report their WSJT-X software would hang
up asking if they want to switch to contest mode. Apparently the program
sees the grid from JA and thinks they are in contest mode? I don't have much
The notice on the development version said I agreed to report problems.
Perhaps there is a place I could not find where I could report this problem
without needing to join a list.
Thank you ALL for WSJT and WSJT-X

Hello WSJT-X developers. Philip Gladstone from PSKReporter suggested that I
contact you about an idea we thought would be very helpful for many
amateurs using your modes.
At present, WSPR is the only practical one-way mode that you provide -- and
it's awesome. However, for flexibility, it would

Is no source rpm package available ?
Best wishes,

Hi Bill,
The release note needs a minor fix:
Release: WSJT-X Version 1.9.0
June 1, 2018

Should be Version 1.9.1
— John G4KLA
Hi Bill!
Yep. I guessed that (because of conversations here). I can compile from
source but I assume there might be one or several other F27 users out
somewhere who can not.
And because there is no mention about that rpm is only for F28 (just:
Fedora, RedHat, ... (64-bit): at Joe's page)

Hi All,
In the past, I was able to build the manual using the "asciidoctor-pdf"
package. It was the only way I had found which was successful. Now, on
Fedora 28, I'm not more able to install this package because of package
conflicts. If I remember well, "asciidoctor-pdf" is still in the alpha
