At least I got mine going...something you seem INCAPABLE of doing

I never knew that proximity to the power supply was a factor.

I'm wondering if the 60Hz background radiation is what causes it to 
randomly pick one or the other as eth0?  (grin!!)

IMHO - since it auto-probes - I'm thinking that whichever one "answers 
the phone" first, gets the prize.
