I really like this "squid" idea...
On our network, i dont know where the traffic goes and every1 on the internal network is able to add the STN gateway. This isn't really a problem because our users dont know anything bout routetables.. But it doesnt feel right.
So adding a proxy is a real treat for me...

If we're to play the issue of "take all the hard drive space you want" might
be a good time to add in a "squid" or similar proxy server. STN would be
well served as a proxy, and since it's sitting on a machine with lotsa hard
drive space, let's use it!
John, any way to combine squid and STN?? I know the guys over at FreeSCO
did it, albeit with DNS problems!!
