The bottom fell out of the developer tools market years ago, probably
because of the influence of open source tools. Developer tools for MS
are not a profitable business, they are just designed to get people on
their platform. It is no wonder Borland/Inprise/Borland/CodeGear/
Embarcadero have struggled so much.
