Mercola is still convinced that it is harmful and says so, loudly. I think the information contained in the article about the way soy acts in the body is indisputable and would never change no matter what new stuff comes up. It does say that fermented soy and sprouted soy are fine, so that would be the only kind I would ever use, if then. I just think that soy was never meant for people to eat, and as far as I can see, there are many, many other things to eat without choosing one which is potentially harmful.
