I have never had a problem with my favorite form of soy, which is tofu. My dear sweet mom used to make it with stir fired veges when we had Chinese night about once a week. Also, it is an ancient food. It is one of the processed foods that I like to eat.

I do not do so well with the fake meat soy products, or other highly processed foods. There must be something else in them that is not too good. I think that big business has gotten involved in all of that, so maybe that has something to do with it.

I am not convinced Mercola is an expert in much, though he is plenty vocal in his beliefs.

I can't see that because the article is old that that would make it
inadmissible though eh? After all, it was before this that soy had been lauded as being the best thing since sliced bread, and as we know with the
cholesterol myth, once big business invests in something it virtually
*never* gets discredited. Mercola is still convinced that it is harmful and says so, loudly. I think the information contained in the article about the way soy acts in the body is indisputable and would never change no matter what new stuff comes up. It does say that fermented soy and sprouted soy are fine, so that would be the only kind I would ever use, if then. I just think that soy was never meant for people to eat, and as far as I can see,
there are many, many other things to eat without choosing one which is
potentially harmful. Dee

I wonder where he getss the idea that this information is bogus and
untruthful? Dee, thanks for the link, don't count on Wayne reading it though It is dated 2002; I found most of the information listed here many years
earlier, and stopped all forms of soy...
