I think the spinach thing is to do with oxalic acid or some acid, and maybe moderation is a good thing with all things including this. I don't know if it helps with bones, but CS does help with things like stem cell growth, so maybe it does. There are some really knowledgeable people on the list so maybe someone will know for sure. However, I do know that spinach for those of us that feed raw diets to our dogs and cats, is not recommended as a food to feed very often. The reason there is that it can leach calcium from their bones. Maybe someone else can clairfy there if it's the same for humans. Oh..that reminds me that I wanted to post to this group, to ask if EIS will in anyway help strenghten bones.
