They have to label it unfit for human consumption, due to the Big Pharma puppets at the FDA. Personally, I feel secure that no producer of DMSO wants to get sued over a bad product -- horse owners tend to be affluent and educated, so not a good class of people to toy with. Besides DMSO is very cheap to "make". It's just a byproduct
of paper production.
