This likely the only area that gets any sunlight, with the fur so short,
and maybe white. So if argyria were to develop, that is the place to
expect it.

Sol,
Perhaps my message didn't come through with the a response to your
question of my dogs color of fur or skin color noticeable changes or
it was missed. So here's the answer:
skin color on paws and legs only changed--not fur.
Believe it or not, this is my story and our eyes including the VET
seeing it too which I just remember asking him about.
I don't exactly recall how many days or weeks, at this point as I
didn't chart it, but my posts you may be able to track for more exact
details before it became noticeable. It may have just happened....I
don't have scientific proof to back up my sayings other than my eyes
and others who saw dog. I'm not here to defend my position but learn
from the group. For me it is a great group and I am not going to
knock others finding great results as you have experienced. I wish I
could say that for my dog, but still I remain happy for others who are
getting great results.
Why two of my local health food stores are not selling it is a mystery
to me. I am grateful I found a local source when desperate to turn too.
I found a new local friend because of it too.
So this is only my story and I'm sure for this one there are fabulous
stories.
So I hope I was being more responsive to not attack you but say it as
politely as possible that this is what we experienced only. I speak
or one person here--me.
Why do some eat anything they want and never get sick and then there
are others who eat it once and get deathly sick? I'm thinking MSG in
various disguise names and forms. So who knows why her paws/legs
turned silver quicker than most others. Who knows and not important
for me to speculate.
Thanks for asking this question again as I am not the type of person
who avoids responding to any questions I see. So I say you decide for
yourself what caused my dog's legs and paws to turn color and return
back to her color and I'm come to my own conclusion. Both of us can
be right in our mind, but for me I had the visual evidence only upon
examination. Phew...enough on this topic so let others read this and
go on to decide for themselves.

*Subject:* CS>color change dog's paws and legs, would like opinions on
how CS could cause it?
All,
My question to the list is: does anyone have any ideas as to what
possible way CS could cause this kind of color change in one month or
less? And have it reverse in a short period of time thereafter?
I have left a bit of the previous exchange, more details are in
other posts between Carol G and myself under the subject
"Clay.............Lupus dog..........."
Carol continues to insist that her dog's paws/legs had a color change
from previous color (not specified) to silverish. I have asked her a
few times whether this was a change in fur color or skin color and she
has so far never answered that question, or if her statement below is
her answer it is unclear to me whether the skin or the fur changed color.
I don't believe that a month of ingestion of some CS (quantity
unspecified ?) could possibly cause such a color change. I have given
50/50 CS water and now straight CS to my cats for YEARS and never seen
any hint of such. So I believe Carol is quite wrong that CS caused the
color change, and that something else caused it.

of approx a quart a day to show up. CS just doesn't accumulate that fast.
