Go to an Oriental Medical Supply site. You can get a desk model for less than
below.

You can also get FIR garments. I like the leg warmers from
www.backontrack.com. They are designed for horses but you get 2 for less money
than a lap blanket... and they work. There are other sites that also sell FIR
garments as well.

HI Kagi,

I don't believe I have ever seen on that has great quality. We paid $149
for ours and it is nearly identical to the one at Amazon (switches just in
slightly different places, etc.). The failure rate is fairly high for all
of
them, but parts are available. so my reference wasn't to the quality of the
output of the lamp, just the parts, as I mentioned.

When I said to consider the source, it wasn't just in reference to the lamp
I found at amazon, it applies to all of them. But for $99 if you have a
condition which a TDP lamp will help with, it will be worth it.

My wife's vertigo (caused by an inner ear infection) couldn't be touched by
traditional medicine, just anti nausea drugs and let it run its course.
Our
daughter-in-law choose that course and still has the vertigo and hearing
loss. She just choose not to come and get her ears treated and has paid
the
price.

I would buy this $99 one in a heart beat should the one I have fail...its
the TDP which is important.

Take care,

Craig
