I ran across that same contention just a couple of days ago myself. I do know that the early Russian humans in space films were faked. I knew it from the first day I saw them, since I knew that one cannot have bubbles in space, reversing of direction by simply moving the arms, and there is so much UV in space that the crystal clear visors in the spacesuits would have meant horrible sunburn in a matter of seconds. All these impossibilities were easily seen in the early films they produced.
