Evening Stuff,

A great bunch of links. I liked all of the ones that worked.

The one on being open minded applies to all of us.

True, but as you get older, you have to close you mind and accept something. <grin>

I am "older", approaching senior citizen by some definitions. Funny, I don't feel "senior" but
then I never paid much attention to other peoples' categorizations of me.

If I had an open mind, would everything fall out?

But the fellow that wrote the open mind like made a good case that we all have closed minds.

He made a good case and I'm assuming for now he's right.

What you are saying is so obvious today, I am beginning to file things in an intermediate domain, until I am able to put it in either the True or False category.

That's why I'll probably bring it up over and over...cuz if most are similar to me, I got a problem and so do "they". I'm assuming we've all undergone some kind of hypnosis, believing authority figures without question...or maybe we getting our genes rewired. BTW, most all this "transformation" happened to me before CS. But maybe CS is accentuating the process of awakening. Lottsa speculation on my part.

Many of the things we worry about for years, often turns out not to be so important.

Bingo.

Why do you think I picked such a goofy name for my mailing list.......

News, Truth, and Lies ? Nearly everything fits somewhere does it not?

If "what's here" didn't fit somewhere, it wouldn't be here, would it.

In today's world, truth seems such a mushy word to me...along with
"science" and "greed".

I prefer "current wisdom" to truth. At least that's the way truth applies to
by way of looking at things.

As to the other two, they seem to be just a bad con.

Nothing to lament here. It's just the way things are.

Enuf o' this.

My next posts will be on what I've discovered using CS.

Stay tuned.

I may have some good news for some.
