I don't know where you get that idea from. It is anti-freeze.  Most anti-freeze
is ethylene glycol, but the pet/earth friendly (less toxic) antifreeze is
propylene glycol.  I use the propolyne glycol for my CS machine coolingjacket
just in case anyghing were to break, it would be less toxic.
