I have always associated a sinus bleeding with it opening enough to drain. Mine has always been better afterward.
If it were me, I would continue to irrigate with the CS for sure, holding my head well back. If it is draining, it is open enough to get the CS in deeply. I read a paper in the last couple of years that says the sinus releases Nitrous Oxide; this I what keeps them sterile most of the time. I am very surprised that your cold is not quickly terminated by the CS. Very unusual. I have not had one in about 5 years. (Raps self on head with knuckles) The cocaine is dosed as a liquid when used medicinally. Sometimes a stick wrapped in gauze is used to direct it to a spot. You will need a doc to prescribe it. It is cocaine. I would not do that unless the bleeding continued for a long time. Good fortune. -----Original Message----- From: Marshall Dudley [mailto:mdud...@king-cart.com] Sent: Thursday, January 13, 2005 8:14 AM To: silver-list@eskimo.com Subject: Re: CS>CS & Xylitol Jim Holmes wrote: > Hello Marshall, > > How much volume? 1 1/2 ml in each nostril. > Is there any pus mixed with the blood? No, but lots of mucus. Got a darn cold which I was unable to shake with CS and olive leaf. Still congested after 10 days. > > > It might be a good thing. Not really bad. A little strange at times, but does not hurt. > > > I have no suggestions to stopping it, other than possibly a small amount of > cocaine hydrochloride; that is a vasoconstrictor. I am not familiar with that. Is it applied directly or in liquid form?
