Good, Ragna!   When the end (as compared to the means) comes it will be like a thief in the night. Boom! Awakening! If it comes from laying on of hands or reading an idea from the Course or bumping your head - it comes and it's over.   ...and I agree with Doug's statement too.   altarlight: "...  but just be  aware that reality is not in ecstatic experience, but all experience is facilitated by reality."   And when we know that only Reality exists with no opposite, all of our experiences will be perfect in the expansion of the certainty of who we are: "The Ocean of Reality!" And at any moment we can be the Wave of the Ocean or the Ocean Itself.   Lenny ... you  may perceive one to be a better atmosphere and one more conducive to  dissolving resistance to seeing your reality. Such a state might be a good one  to remain in, and yet, is not the reality itself.   Thank you for your reply altarlight.  I  read through _Emissary  Inc_ (http://www.heartpower.net/articles.htm?3)   briefly, (thank you Lenny for the link)  but I will go back and read the other pages that Lenny mentioned.    To me this account sounds like the  imparting of the Holy Spirit by the laying on  of hands as practiced in the beautiful mystical (non "fundamental") church I grew up in.  The  impartation will not be accepted by an unreceptive mind, but if it is received it's like an initiation that opens the door to higher awareness "conductive to dissolving resistance", but like altarlight says it is not the end point in itself ... if indeed there is an end  point in Creation/Reality.    ACIM says: "The power of one mind can shine into  another, because all  the lamps of God were lit by the same spark."   But like any experience which is temporary in  this so called life on earth, (even "enlightenment") we must stay constantly aware of  truth if we are to be a clear channel of  love and peace.  The maintenance of the desire that all beings become self realized will be reflected in all we say and do, that  we all become and remain aware of our "whole reality."   Temptations will certainly come to deny  truth, but need not be entertained.   altarlight: "...  but just be  aware that reality is not in ecstatic experience, but all experience is facilitated by reality."   Neat!    The inner light can answer any of this world's queries and resolve any of its problems.  Beyond all of these concerns, the inner light will show you who you are and your relationship to all...and bring you an understanding of love and peace that transcends ordinary human thought processes.  Discover what it truly means to "love one another" and to "see peace."
