al - You make choices by perception, for that is what they are...making and selecting illusions. You make your own sign posts to guide you home. "Best" sign post award goes to the one you say won it. Of course, if you don't want to go home, choose the worst sign post. And if you're already home, what does it matter? LOL
The fact that your self is not independent as in separate, it is also not dependent as in separate. Too many read selflessness from ancient pages and believe it is so, and yet, you cannot be at all except you be the altar of the whole light. It's not that you do not have your own volition, but rather that your volition is all there is or ever will be...so why not discover your self (which IS your volition) and enjoy abiding it your light. Like, uh....what else is there?
