True, Phil and if it works for you why are you saying you're confused (even in jest)? And you're saying you're still a seeker and not enlightened. The Course is about collapsing time and living in True Perception or the Kingdom of God NOW. We are not LIVING until we wake up. We are just existing (especially when we wake up and see the difference).

I had a friend write me this in regard to some of these posts:

Regarding ecstatic experiences, Ramana Maharshi agreed with alterlight:  "Be as you are.  If something can be given it can be taken away". This is not what Kalki is doing, giving ecstatic experiences.  He's removing the veils to the permanent Reality that is already there.  And some can do it on there own....1 in a million, like Ramana...so if some like alterlight feel what they're doing is working for them, they're not going to listen to any of this....they are people with full cups.  And God bless them if they're making it on their own.  I, like Freddy and you, didn't like the odds.

Bottom lines aren't always what they're quacked up to be. A couple of years ago, I was pondering this question that I 'heard' from within. "If you could take a happy pill and be happy for the rest of your life, would you?" The first answer is, 'Hell yeah!", but then I looked deep because the answer was also being given to me. In the silent depths of my soul was a different knowing than what my ego would choose; an unqualified 'no'.

I now understand the true meaning of the saying "It's the journey, not the destination", and a deep realization that God is not lost. He says to me, he says, "Phil, you don't need to find enlightenment. Seek joy and peace in everything, and enlightenment will find YOU". :)
