I have a WIP phone about here too, i had issues with battery life, but it worked for basic features.
I have a contact in germany who uses one of the Spectralink's I think, maybe one in Canada too. What version firmware is on the Spectralink? I recall a weird issue happening with a canadian ITSP where you would call the user DID and as soon as you answered on the handset, the phone would reboot... Once they started using a different ITSP the problem went away... really weird.
