I am not an expert in dialplans so i can't be of much help there. However, I do know how the call flow is executed so I'll give my opinion on that area. sipx does not have a concept of channels. It really does not care nor know how many DIDs are assigned to the trunk. It all depends on how you map the DID to internal numbers using aliases or extensions. Authentication method used has no correlation to inbound calls. I do not think there is no special configuration required if you have multiple DID in a trunk except to make sure that they are properly routed to extensions or AAs via aliases.
